Phyllis Clark Schwartz, the daughter of Badger Clark's
only nephew and closest friend, died December 15, 2010 at the age of 87.
She served as the first president of the Badger Clark Memorial Society founded
in 1984 and volunteered as a docent at the Badger Hole in Custer State Park for
many summers in the 1980s and 1990s.
A memorial has been established in her name.
